How do I get my tickets?
When you purchase a ticket you will receive an email with your booking details. Present this (on your phone is fine) to the ticket office to receive your festival wristband. The ticket office will be at The Whitsunday Sailing Club. From the main street just walk along the waterfront toward the big tent! The office will be open from Thursday 8th of November. Further details will be sent closer to the event.
What does my 3 Day Pass cover?
A standard ticket covers FREE bus transfer service on Whitsunday Transit for everyone wearing a wristband.
Thursday 9th November – Passport to Airlie Showcase Finals under the Big Top
Friday 10th – Sunday 12th November – Free entry to all festival venues and the main tent.
Monday 13th Nov – Free entry to the official after party at Northerlies Beach Bar and Grill.
What does a VIP Ticket give me access to?
A VIP ticket covers all of this PLUS access each evening to the VIP garden including your own bar with a 6 hour daily ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday) food and alcohol package, own toilets, tables and chairs backing onto the ocean. Mingle with the artists and sponsors all weekend!
Can I come and go from the Main Stage area at much as I want?
Yes you can!
Can I upgrade my general entry ticket to a VIP ticket?
Yes you can! Just email us on tickets@airliebeachfestivalofmusic.com.au with your original ticket and your request. Don’t delay as there are limited number available.
Are one day tickets available?
Yes, one day tickets have been released with the daily line up available here.
Are minors and pets allowed?
No pets allowed sorry, Under 18’s are welcome in the main tent for Passport to Airlie Thursday night only and in most participating venues.
When do bands kick off each day?
Some official venues partners have music that can start as early as 8am for the breakfast crowd. This will all be in the program that will be released on our website, socials and in a handy paper copy that you can collect when you collect your wristbands.
Parking?
ABFOM does not have any designated parking areas. All parking is subject to the Whitsunday Regional Council by laws and fees. Your best bet is to leave your car at your accommodation and take advantage of our free transfer service with thanks to Whitsunday Transit.
Can I buy a tick at the gate?
Yes, providing capacity isn’t reached prior.
What food and drink stalls are available?
In the main tent area there is catering with a range to suit everyone’s requirements. No food or drinks can be brought into the main tent area. We offer water stations to refill your water bottle.
Can I bring a fold up chair?
No need! There is lots of seating provided under the main tent shade.
Can a ticket holder have a companion card ticket?
Buy a regular ticket online and we will issue another when presented with your companion card at the gate.
