Beach Jam Session

Every year the Airlie Beach Festival of Music kicks off with a jam session on the beach. Indigenous dancers perform a welcome to country and musicians jam by the Coral Sea before moving to a venue on the Airlie Beach Main Street.

Day 1

On Friday, November 9, the small coastal town of Airlie Beach will come alive to the sounds of music. Festival acts play across 18 venues throughout Airlie Beach including the main tent at the Whitsunday Sailing Club.

Day 2

A special kids event at the main tent starts the day, with the official program continuing through the afternoon and evening. Everything is fully equipped - no need to bring camping chairs.

Day 3

Start your Sunday with a brunch set to live music at one of the venues on the Airlie Beach Main Street. Then move to the main tent where the final day's program gets underway at 1pm. The festival finale is always an experience not to be missed.
