"Clare is a professional multi-instrumentalist from Sydney. With a career spanning over two decades, her proficiency in piano, violin, accordion, mandolin, guitar and voice has taken her on a vast myriad of musical experiences across Australia and the world. She has toured extensively and recorded with many of Australia’s musical greats both nationally and internationally, performing at major music festivals in Europe, USA, Asia and TV appearances including The Voice, Australian Idol and more recently ABC’s The Recording Studio. Often referred to as a ‘Genre Jumper’ she has brought her influences to all scenes Folk, Rock, Pop, Country, Jazz and Celtic. Artists include Beccy Cole, Brian Cadd, Melinda Schneider, Damien Leith, Slim Dusty, Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Jimmy Little, Jeff Duff, Damien Lovelock, Les Murray, Phil and Tommy Emmanuel, Sara Storer, George Washingmachine, Kate Ceberano, Joe Camilleri, Glenn Shorrock, James Blundell and countless others. One of her career highlights was performing at the International Jazz Festival at Havana Cuba, with her Gypsy Jazz band with George Washingmachine, ‘Feel The Manouche’ in 2016. She currently tours the country full time as a True Blue member of the legendary John Williamson’s band, and also the iconic Bushwackers. In January 2018 at the Golden Guitar Awards in Tamworth, Clare received the prestigious Music Industry Award ‘Musician Of The Year’. Not only a highly acclaimed award to receive amongst her peers, but is also the first woman to do so in the history of this award."
