Rebelquin & Zed Charles
Saturday 6th November
Sunday 7th November
Rebelquin has gained the nickname “The Sultry Songstress of Rock”, due to her powerful, soulful and mesmerising voice. She takes on a song with overflowing passion and soulful interpretation of the music she performs.
Performing original compositions & covers from across the board, rebelquin captivates audiences with her own unique, Bluesy/indie rock style of penetrating vocals, guitar & piano playing.
Bowen boy Zed Charles Poschelk cut his teeth playing his guitar throughout the Whitsundays as a kid before heading for the big smoke.
Touring and releasing music with his band The Royal Artillery, Zed has cut a vibrant path through blues, rock and country genres, supporting and appearing with premier artists at countless festivals. From Mungo Jerry at Mitchell Creek Blues to Nick Oliveri of Queens of the Stoneage at a sold out Tivoli, Zed has forged his reputation as a session musician and one of Australia's most exciting guitar prospects, set to release his first solo Album in 2022. An Airlie Beach Music festival regular, Zed has previously performed in the big tent with 8ball Aitken, Transvaal Diamond Syndicate and as a soloist, catch him teaming up with Sharon of Rebelquin this year as they follow up their electric performance from Bands in Paradise
