The Dazeychains

The Dazeychains binds Meryn and Matt together to create an original and engaging sound. Meryn's vocals are a mix of jazz, blues and contemporary, creating a warm, luscious sound.

Matt is a technical whizz on guitar, able to create an incredible atmospheric range. Both have an ear for music, with their improvisations showing skill and a pure love of music.

The Dazeychains arrange a variety of music genres, as well as write originals.

Meryn is originally from NSW, where she is a trained Music Teacher. She has been performing for over 20 years both solo and in bands. She sings in a range of settings and styles – musical theatre, contemporary, A Capella, French vaudeville as well as writing and performing originals. Meryn has done contemporary and jazz exams in both piano and vocals.

Matt is from QLD, and studied film and sound production at SAE in Byron Bay. He has always had a love of guitar, and ventured into a range of genres including soul, blues, funk, rock, and punk. Matt has been a member of a number of bands, and has a genuine love of music. The perfect combo for a variety of events.
